Long distance relationships suck sometimes. Luckily we have technology to help us connect across the geographical and emotional divide. It’s not just young lovers spending a lot of time and effort keeping long distance love alive (although they do get bonus points for being some of the most passionately creative!). With grandparents that live on the other side of the country, friends who travel the world, kids that are off in college and life partners working in different time zones, we all have long distance love (a.k.a LD<3) in our lives. Over 90% of us are long distance ‘lovers’.

So when we ask, ‘Are you?’, we’re pretty confident you’ll say yes! We at Spoke are setting out on a quest to explore this LD<3 phenomenon and figure out how we can best use all of this newfangled technology to feel more connected when we can’t be there in person. We mean really connected. Like the emotional, personal, human kind of connected. We have a few ideas…

Join us. Be like Jane and shout it from the rooftops, ‘Hi, my name is [insert name here] and I’m a Long Distance Lover!’ We’ll be listening. ❤
